Bill Ungerman is a veteran saxophonist, composer, and arranger whose soulful sound and impeccable musicianship have made him a standout on stages around the world. With over 40 years of professional experience, Bill brings a rich musical legacy to every performance — blending classic swing, jazz standards, and cinematic flair into an unforgettable listening experience.

A longtime member of the iconic swing band Royal Crown Revue (1992–2000), Bill toured internationally and performed with legends like Bette Midler, The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, James Brown, Neil Diamond, and even Kiss. His arrangement of “Hey Pachuco” — famously featured in The Mask — continues to be heard in films, trailers, and commercials to this day.

From 2011 to 2017, Bill led the house band at Hollywood’s stylish No Vacancy nightclub, showcasing his talent for curating tasteful, high-energy live music in elegant venues.

The Bill-Ray Duo has a longstanding weekly gig at the historic Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, CA.
